Convertible MIM® buccal tubes
Convertible buccal tubes with a laser-welded cap that cannot detach and is removed with the P1090-00 instrument.

The convertible tube solves the problem that arises when the second molar has to be banded but a fixed tube is already in place. Instead of replacing the whole tube, the cap is removed.
The cap is laser welded — it cannot detach in the mouth — and is removed with the P1090-00 instrument. The instrument is autoclavable, with replaceable P1090-01 tips (2 pieces supplied).
Every tube is available in the D.B. version, prewelded to a CALIBRA® or WEB band or brazed onto the D.B. anatomical MAXI pad F2800-00. Both services are free.
